Ingredients

Scale
  • 68 fresh strawberries, hulled

  • 8 fresh mint leaves

  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or to taste)

  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)

  • 2 ounces white rum

  • Club soda or sparkling water, to top

  • Ice cubes

  • Lime wedges & mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, muddle the strawberries, mint leaves, and sugar together until the strawberries are broken down.

  2. Add the lime juice and rum, and stir well.

  3. Fill a serving glass with ice and pour the muddled mixture over it.

  4. Top with club soda or sparkling water.

  5. Gently stir, then garnish with a lime wedge and mint sprig.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the strawberries.

  • Use a cocktail muddler or the back of a spoon for muddling.

  • For a mocktail version, skip the rum and add more soda water.
