Ingredients

Scale
  • Crust:

    • 2 cups crushed pretzels

    • 3/4 cup melted butter

    • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • Filling:

    • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

    • 1 cup granulated sugar

    • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

  • Topping:

    • 2 (3 oz) packages strawberry Jell-O

    • 2 cups boiling water

    • 2 1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press into a 9x13-inch baking dish.

  3. Bake crust for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.

  4. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.

  5. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  6. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Stir in strawberries. Let cool until slightly thickened.

  7. Pour over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for 4-6 hours or until set.

  8. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese layer fully seals the crust to prevent sogginess.

  • You can substitute frozen strawberries if fresh ones are unavailable.

  • For a twist, try using raspberry Jell-O and raspberries.
