  • Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
  • Let the custard cool slightly.
  • Layer the banana slices in the pie crust. Pour custard over bananas.
  • Refrigerate pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
  • Top with whipped cream and more banana slices before serving.
