  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms (button or cremini)
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Egg noodles, cooked (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear beef strips for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually pour in beef broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  4. Add sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve over cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
