  • 12 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  • In the same pan, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream, lemon zest, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until sauce thickens.
  • Return shrimp to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and toss in the cooked pasta until fully coated.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra lemon zest. Serve hot.
