  • 6 slices of bread (white or brioche)

  • 3 tbsp softened cream cheese

  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ cup milk

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp butter (for frying)

  • Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

  • Flatten each bread slice with a rolling pin.

  • Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on each slice.

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the cream cheese.

  • Roll up each slice tightly and set aside.

  • In a bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and vanilla.
