  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or cubed
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted (optional for breadcrumbs)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Steam the broccoli florets for 4-5 minutes until just tender and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In a 9x13-inch baking dish, layer the cooked chicken and steamed broccoli.
  • Pour the creamy sauce mixture over the chicken and broccoli, spreading it evenly.
  • (Optional) In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and serve.

  • For a healthier version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise and sour cream.
