Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries

  • 2 black tea bags

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 12 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew the Tea: Steep black tea bags in 1 cup boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool.

  2. Make Blackberry Syrup: In a saucepan, combine blackberries, honey, and vanilla. Cook over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until berries break down. Mash and strain the mixture to remove seeds.

  3. Assemble the Latte: In a glass, add ice cubes, 2–3 tbsp of blackberry syrup, cooled black tea, and top with milk.

  4. Stir & Serve: Mix gently and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use frozen blackberries if fresh aren't available.

  • Adjust sweetness to taste.

  • Try oat or almond milk for a dairy-free version.

  • Store extra blackberry syrup in the fridge for up to 5 days.
