Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups watermelon, cubed and frozen

  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Freeze the cubed watermelon for at least 3 hours or overnight.

  2. Place the frozen watermelon cubes in a food processor.

  3. Add honey or maple syrup if using, and blend until smooth and creamy.

  4. Scrape down the sides as needed, then process again until you reach a gelato-like consistency.

  5. Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture or freeze for 1-2 hours for a firmer consistency.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.

  • For a dairy-free version, this recipe is perfect as is!

  • If you prefer a creamier texture, you can add a splash of coconut milk or almond milk.
