  • 1 cup white BBQ sauce (mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, and spices)
  • 4 sub rolls or hoagie rolls
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup pickles (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Toss the shredded chicken with the white BBQ sauce until fully coated.
  • Slice the sub rolls and brush the insides with olive oil or melted butter. Toast them lightly in the oven for 3-5 minutes.
  • Layer the sauced chicken onto the bottom half of each sub roll.
