  • 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes (about 4 large sweet potatoes)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, melted butter, eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth. Spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, chopped pecans, brown sugar, and melted butter to make the topping. Sprinkle evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden and bubbly.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
