Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Ground pork
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Egg
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Flour
  • Beef broth
  • Heavy cream
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook pasta according to package instructions and drain.
  • In a bowl, mix ground beef, pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Shape into meatballs.
  • In a skillet, heat butter over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  • To the skillet, add butter and flour to make a roux, then gradually whisk in beef broth and cream until smooth.
