Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Cooked rice
  • Canned diced tomatoes
  • Onion (chopped)
  • Bell peppers (chopped)
  • Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • Corn (optional)
  • Tomato sauce
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion, garlic, and bell peppers until softened.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned, and drain excess fat. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Grease a baking dish and layer cooked rice as the first layer.
  • Spread the beef mixture over the rice.
  • Add a layer of corn (optional) followed by a layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Repeat layers if needed, ending with a final layer of cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
