Ingredients

  • 3 pound chuck roast
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 4 oz can diced jalapenos
  • Sliced Colby Jack cheese
  • 6 buns
  • Crispy fried onions

Instructions

  1. Place chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Add BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and sliced onion.
  3. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours until tender.
  4. Shred the roast and mix in cooked bacon and diced jalapenos.
  5. Toast buns and place sliced Colby Jack cheese on the bottom bun.
  6. Add the shredded beef mixture, and top with crispy fried onions.
  7. Serve hot.
