8 oz linguine or spaghetti
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
