Homemade Quick Pizza Dough (1.2 pounds):
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour (+more for kneading)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon instant yeast
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup warm water (110-115F)
Sheet Pan Pizza:
1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
2 tablespoons olive oil
⅔ cup pizza sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese
5 oz pepperoni
¼ cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
Make the Dough: In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add olive oil and warm water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes, adding flour as needed until smooth and elastic. Let rise for 30 minutes.
Prepare the Pizza: Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out dough to fit a sheet pan, then transfer to the pan and stretch to the edges. Brush with olive oil.
Add Toppings: Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly, then add pepperoni slices. Top with parmesan cheese.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
Serve: Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
