    • 1/4 cup warm water
    • 1 package active dry yeast
    • 1/3 cup milk
    • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 egg
    • 33 1/2 cups flour
  • For the Filling:
    • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
    • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
    • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • For the Icing:
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 4 ounces cream cheese
    • 2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix warm water and yeast. Let it sit until frothy.
  • In a large bowl, combine milk, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Stir in the egg and yeast mixture.
  • Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled.
  • Prepare the filling by combining pumpkin pie spice, melted butter, pumpkin puree, vanilla, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling evenly, then roll it up tightly. Cut into rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
  • Let the rolls rise again, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • For the icing, beat together butter and cream cheese. Gradually add powdered sugar and milk, beating until smooth. Spread over warm rolls.
