1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
1 lb ground beef
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
½ cup sour cream
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add ground beef, cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
Stir in marinara sauce, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, ricotta, sour cream, and 1 cup of mozzarella.
In a baking dish, layer half the ravioli, followed by the cheese mixture, half the meat sauce, and the remaining ravioli.
Top with the remaining meat sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
You can substitute ground beef with sausage or ground turkey.
Frozen ravioli doesn't need to be thawed before layering.
Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
