  • 1/2 pound bacon, roughly chopped
  • 1 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons "no sugar added" ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 dill pickle chips, sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook ground beef with seasoning salt, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Add chopped onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  • Stir in cream cheese, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined. Remove from heat.
  • Spread beef mixture in a baking dish. Top with bacon and pickle slices.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy whipping cream. Pour over the beef mixture.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

  • For a spicier version, add chopped jalapeños.
