1/2 pound bacon, roughly chopped
1 1/2 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 oz cream cheese
2 tablespoons "no sugar added" ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
6 dill pickle chips, sliced
2 eggs
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.
In the same skillet, cook ground beef with seasoning salt, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Add chopped onion and garlic, cook until softened.
Stir in cream cheese, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined. Remove from heat.
Spread beef mixture in a baking dish. Top with bacon and pickle slices.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy whipping cream. Pour over the beef mixture.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
For a spicier version, add chopped jalapeños.
