  • ½ (6-ounce) can Tomato Paste
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth, plus 1 cup water
  • 1-2 cups Water (as needed)

  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)

  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese, shredded (about ½ cup)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese, shaved, shredded, or freshly grated

  • Add diced onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste.
  • Pour in chicken broth and 1 cup water. Add Italian seasoning, sea salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • Add uncooked bowtie pasta and cook until pasta is tender.
  • Adjust broth consistency with additional water if needed.
  • Serve hot, topped with ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, substitute some of the water with more chicken broth.
  • Feel free to use any small pasta shape if bowtie pasta isn't available.
