Ingredients

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 chai tea bags

  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cherries (pitted)

  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup ice cubes

  • Optional: cherry juice or splash of lemon for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Boil the water and steep the chai tea bags for 5–7 minutes.

  2. Remove tea bags and stir in honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla.

  3. In a blender, combine cherries with a little steeped tea to purée.

  4. Strain cherry purée (optional for smoother texture) and add to the rest of the tea.

  5. Chill the mixture for 30–60 minutes.
