  • ½ cup onion (diced)
  • 1 30 oz package frozen hash brown potatoes (thawed)
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef and diced onions over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, mix the thawed hash browns, cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
  • Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Spread the beef mixture in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Pour the hashbrown mixture over the beef and spread evenly.
  • Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
