Cream Cheese Swirl:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Orange food coloring

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until well combined. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Add orange food coloring to achieve the desired shade.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Use a knife to gently swirl the cream cheese into the brownie batter, creating a marbled effect.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
