  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup dry white wine or chicken broth
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp from the skillet.
  • Pour in white wine (or chicken broth) and lemon juice; simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Return shrimp to the skillet, add remaining butter, and toss with parsley.
  • Add cooked pasta and mix until well coated.
  • Serve warm, garnished with Parmesan cheese if desired.
