1 ½ cups your favorite BBQ sauce
Smokey BBQ Spice Rub
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 ½ lb beef brisket
6 burger buns
Toppings: pickles, onions, slaw, more BBQ sauce
Instructions
Combine all ingredients for the Smokey BBQ Spice Rub.
Rub the spice mixture evenly over the brisket.
Place the brisket in a slow cooker and pour BBQ sauce over it.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the meat is tender.
Shred the brisket using two forks and mix with the sauce in the slow cooker.
Serve the shredded brisket on burger buns with desired toppings.
Notes
Add more BBQ sauce if you prefer a saucier sandwich.
