  • 4 croissants, sliced in half
  • 8 eggs
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 pound thin-sliced ham
  • 4 slices American cheese

Instructions

  • Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat, add the egg mixture, and scramble until cooked. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a separate skillet, melt the remaining butter and stir in the brown sugar and Dijon mustard. Add the ham slices and cook until heated through.
  • To assemble, place a slice of American cheese on the bottom half of each croissant. Top with scrambled eggs, ham, shredded cheese, and then the top half of the croissant.
