Creamy garlic chicken recipe with tender chicken breasts cooked in a rich garlic cream sauce. Easy and delicious meal for garlic lovers.

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Flour for dredging
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 whole head garlic, cloves peeled
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup heavy/whipping cream
  • Parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
  • Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic cloves. Cook until garlic is golden.
  • Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and cook until the sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot.

  • Ensure garlic is cooked until soft to release maximum flavor.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
