Creamy garlic chicken pasta is a delicious and comforting dish featuring tender chicken, rich cream, and flavorful garlic, with a touch of spinach and Parmesan.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces dry pasta (any kind)
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cups spinach, chopped (optional)
  • 2 cups heavy cream (or 16 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded or grated
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • Add tomatoes and cook until softened. Add spinach, if using, and cook until wilted.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
  • Return chicken to skillet and combine with sauce.
  • Toss in cooked pasta until well coated with the creamy sauce.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding red pepper flakes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley for added color and flavor.
