Recreate the famous Starbucks Grilled Cheese Sandwich at home with this easy recipe! Enjoy a gooey cheese filling and perfectly grilled, buttery bread in just a few simple steps.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
  • Mix the mozzarella, white cheddar, and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
  • Spread mayonnaise on the non-buttered side of the bread and layer the cheese mixture between the slices.
  • Place the sandwich in the preheated skillet, buttered side down.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, pressing lightly with a spatula, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the skillet, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
