2 slices of sourdough bread
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (optional)
2 tbsp butter, softened
1 tbsp mayonnaise
Instructions
Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
Spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
Mix the mozzarella, white cheddar, and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
Spread mayonnaise on the non-buttered side of the bread and layer the cheese mixture between the slices.
Place the sandwich in the preheated skillet, buttered side down.
Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, pressing lightly with a spatula, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the skillet, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes
