Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a sheet cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  • Gradually add boiling water to the batter, stirring until smooth.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • For the frosting, beat butter until fluffy, then gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream until smooth.
