  • Casserole:
    • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets, uncooked
    • 4 cups cooked or rotisserie chicken, shredded or diced
    • 2 cups ham, diced
    • 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
    • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • Casserole Topping:
    • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
    • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
  • For the Dijon Cream Sauce:
    • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
    • Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
    • Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
    • Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk until smooth.
    • Add Dijon mustard, Bouillon powder, and Parmesan cheese.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste and simmer until thickened.
  • For the Casserole:
    • Spread broccoli evenly in the casserole dish.
    • Layer shredded chicken and diced ham over the broccoli.
    • Pour the Dijon cream sauce over the layers.
    • Top with shredded Swiss cheese and Parmesan cheese.
  • For the Topping:
    • Combine Panko breadcrumbs and melted butter.
    • Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbly.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot
