  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10 ounce) can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 pound frozen tater tots
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and onions are tender. Drain excess fat.
  • Season the beef mixture with 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt.
  • Spread the beef mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
  • Pour the cream of chicken soup over the cheese.
  • Arrange the tater tots on top of the soup in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
