1 lb ground beef
1 cup white rice (uncooked)
2 cups beef broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced onions
1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onions and sauté until softened.
Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In a baking dish, combine uncooked rice, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, and peas (if using). Mix well.
Add cooked ground beef and onions to the dish, stirring to combine.
Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

You can substitute cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken soup.
