  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • Oil for frying

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in diced apples.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  • Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze. Drizzle over fritters and serve warm.
