This beef stir fry with noodles and sticky sauce is a delicious and easy meal packed with tender beef, fresh veggies, and a flavorful sticky sauce.
12 oz (340g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
8 oz (225g) egg noodles
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
2 green onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1-inch ginger, grated
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add the remaining oil and stir-fry the bell pepper and broccoli for 3-4 minutes.
Add garlic, ginger, and green onions, stir-frying for another minute.
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
Return the beef to the pan, add the sauce, and mix well.
Stir in the cornstarch slurry and let the sauce thicken.
Add the cooked noodles, toss everything together, and cook for another 2 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or extra green onions if desired.
Use flank steak or ribeye for extra tenderness.
Adjust spice levels by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
Swap egg noodles for rice noodles or zucchini noodles for a different texture.
