Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced

  • 8 oz (225g) egg noodles

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1-inch ginger, grated

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.

  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same pan, add the remaining oil and stir-fry the bell pepper and broccoli for 3-4 minutes.

  • Add garlic, ginger, and green onions, stir-frying for another minute.

  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.

  • Return the beef to the pan, add the sauce, and mix well.

  • Stir in the cornstarch slurry and let the sauce thicken.

  • Add the cooked noodles, toss everything together, and cook for another 2 minutes.

  • Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or extra green onions if desired.

Notes

  • Use flank steak or ribeye for extra tenderness.

  • Adjust spice levels by adding more or less red pepper flakes.

  • Swap egg noodles for rice noodles or zucchini noodles for a different texture.
