Apricot tart recipe with puff pastry, apricot preserves, sliced almonds, sugar, and butter. Perfectly sweet and crunchy dessert.

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • ¼ cup apricot preserves
  • ¾ cup sliced almonds
  • 1 pound apricots
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet.
  • Spread apricot preserves over the pastry.
  • Arrange sliced apricots on top of the preserves.
  • Sprinkle sugar evenly over the apricots.
  • Dot with butter pieces.
  • Sprinkle sliced almonds over the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the apricots are tender.
  • Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute apricots with peaches or nectarines if desired.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
