  • 6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

Crumble Topping:

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare your pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and flour. Pour apple mixture into the pie crust.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, and butter for the crumble topping. Mix until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the apple filling is bubbly.
  7. Let cool before serving.
