Alabama Fire Crackers are a bold and spicy snack made with saltine crackers, zesty seasonings, and red pepper flakes. These crunchy, flavorful crackers are perfect for parties, game nights, or as a quick snack with a kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (16 oz) saltine crackers
  • 1 ½ cups canola oil
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Place the saltine crackers in a large ziplock bag.
  • In a bowl, mix canola oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
  • Pour the seasoned oil over the crackers in the bag. Seal the bag and gently turn it to coat the crackers evenly.
  • Let the crackers sit for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor, occasionally flipping the bag.
  • Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Spread crackers on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • Let cool and enjoy!
