1 lb ground beef
4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 medium onion, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.
In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, layer half the potato slices, followed by the onions and ground beef.
Spread the cream of mushroom soup evenly over the top.
Add another layer of potatoes and top with shredded cheese.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 50 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
