Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies (crushed for crust)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted)
  • Whipped cream (for topping, optional)
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the Crust: Combine crushed Oreos and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator.
  2. Prepare the Filling: Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Mix in peppermint extract and a few drops of green food coloring (optional).
  3. Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Layer the Cheesecake: Divide the filling in half. Mix melted chocolate into one half to create a chocolate layer. Spread the mint layer over the crust, followed by the chocolate layer. Smooth the top.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours or overnight to set.
  6. Decorate and Serve: Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or extra crushed Oreos before serving.

Notes

  • Use good-quality peppermint extract for the best flavor.
  • For a firmer texture, freeze the cheesecake for 1-2 hours before serving.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your liking by tweaking the powdered sugar.
