  • 12 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic and red pepper flakes until fragrant.
  4. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add shrimp back to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce and shrimp. Mix well.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
