This Honey Sriracha chicken recipe offers the perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors.   • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2-3 tbsp Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Let it simmer for 2 more minutes to absorb the flavors.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less Sriracha.
  • This dish pairs well with jasmine rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables.
