  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 5 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces

  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, 5–7 minutes. Remove from skillet.

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

  • Add asparagus and sauté for 3–4 minutes until just tender.

  • Return chicken to skillet, toss with asparagus, and add lemon juice and red pepper flakes.

 

  • Cook another 1–2 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for a juicier bite.

  • Add grated parmesan for extra flavor.
