Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Glaze:

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Place the mixture into the loaf pan and shape it evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
