This Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff Recipe is a comforting, creamy dish featuring tender ground beef and egg noodles in a rich mushroom sauce. A quick and flavorful dinner ready in just 30 minutes, perfect for busy weeknights!

  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic until softened. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  3. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add beef broth, stirring to create a smooth sauce.
  4. Add Worcestershire sauce and bring to a simmer. Return ground beef to the skillet.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with the sauce.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
