Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, sliced thin

  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup beef broth

  • ¾ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Season steak slices with salt and pepper.

  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear steak slices until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, sauté for 1 minute.

  5. Pour in heavy cream and beef broth. Stir and bring to a simmer.

  6. Add parmesan cheese and stir until sauce thickens.

  7. Return steak to the skillet and combine with sauce.

  8. Toss in cooked pasta until well coated.

  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate steak in garlic, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.

  • Swap heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter option.

  • Add mushrooms or spinach for additional texture and nutrition.
