  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Sauté Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink (about 2 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.

  3. Make Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute. Pour in cream and bring to a simmer.

  4. Add Cheese: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add red pepper flakes if using.

  5. Combine: Return shrimp and pasta to skillet. Toss well to coat in sauce.

  6. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add a squeeze of lemon for brightness.

  • For extra creaminess, stir in a tablespoon of cream cheese.

  • Substitute chicken for shrimp if preferred.
