  • 10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 2/3 cups crispy fried onion strings, divided
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Stir in the blanched green beans, 1 cup of crispy fried onions, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the remaining crispy fried onions on top and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use canned green beans if fresh aren’t available; just skip the blanching step.
  • For a richer flavor, swap sharp cheddar cheese with Gruyère or Parmesan.
