  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Optional: sour cream, salsa, or guacamole for serving

Instructions

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the beef. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • In a clean skillet, add a little olive oil or butter and place a tortilla. Sprinkle a layer of cheese on one side.
  • Add a layer of the cooked beef, then top with more cheese. Cover with a second tortilla.
  • Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  • Repeat for the remaining tortillas. Slice into wedges and serve with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.
