  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (or vegetarian substitute)

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons water

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with 1 tbsp water, optional for thickening)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.

  4. Add mushrooms and continue to stir-fry for another 3–4 minutes.

  5. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
